Check out this great photo I just got from the Martha show!
Also, check out my guest stint over at the Changing Lives, Changing Minds blog - I posted a short essay on my relationship with reading.
Now Lara and I are off to Washington, D.C. for the weekend to visit my mom - Yay! We're thinking the zoo and the Natural History Smithsonian museum are good places for a three year old. Any other suggestions?

Now that is one for the scrapbooks!
You are beautiful by the way!
The Air and Space Museum is usually a big hit as well. There is also a small aquarium on 14th Street (near Pennsylvania avenue) - this is the perfect size for little ones. Have fun!
FDR Memorial, definitely.
Great keepsake.
You look RADIANT!
Great, great picture!
Your contribution into "The changing Lives..." blog is very insightful and memory and thought provocing. I enjoyed it!
I saw the video on Martha's website. And loved it so much I made my own. A bit smaller though to go with Barbie.
Thank you so much. You are such a talented lady.
I too love working with cardboard boxes.
Here is the link to the furniture I made....
