I use it in stirfries and asian style soups...great in a asian chicken soup..just cut it in chunky strips and add it at the end for a minute or so - the heat of the soup cooks it enough. Plus the above ideas are all yummy too!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-193652450580215999.post-37421944278504120122008-01-07T03:07:00.000-05:002008-01-07T03:07:00.000-05:00Looks like bok choi. Sauces are fun, though I usually just do a bit of chicken stock, plus a bit of corn starch to thicken. Drizzle a couple teaspoons of oyster sauce over cooked bok choy.

Something with more complex flavors...stir fry with olive oil, satay (chinese bbq sauce)and soy sauce. pour corn starch & water mixture over almost cooked bok choy to bring it all together. (we sometimes add thin slices of chicken/beef to give dish more oomph, though the bok choy is the star ingredient)Ben's Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08108718748384962933noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-193652450580215999.post-12114284379841467742008-01-03T21:50:00.000-05:002008-01-03T21:50:00.000-05:00Yummy bok choy. I usually like to eat it raw - it has such an interesting, light flavour especially combined with complementary flavours like tomatoes.

I used to get a veggie box as well from a local organic, heirloom grower - it was such a fantastic experience! My mystery food ended up being a daikon radish - large, white and strange. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-193652450580215999.post-57538114740609969692008-01-03T14:09:00.000-05:002008-01-03T14:09:00.000-05:00It's bok choy.
